What’s on at Nursing Live’s CV Workshop

The CV Workshop at Nursing Live will provide advice on the structure and contents of your CV along with sessions on how to write a job application supporting statement to secure an interview.

Come to Nursing Live's CV Workshop for advice on how to improve your CV and write strong effective supporting statements with RCN Careers Service’s careers coach and operational lead Julie Watkins and career information coordinator Ruth Jones.

The CV Workshop will run on a first-come first-served basis, so book your slot as soon as you arrive at Nursing Live. 

Wednesday 23 October – CV workshops

These workshops with the RCN Careers Service will provide personalised expert advice on how to create an effective CV, develop your personal profile or summary, highlight your key skills and achievements, as well as tips on improving CV structure and design. 

These sessions will be run in small groups. Each session is 30 minutes and is available on a first-come first-served basis on the day, so head over to the CV Workshop area when you arrive at Nursing Live to book your slot.

  • 11.35am – 12.05pm

  • 12.20pm – 12.50pm

Thursday 24 October - Supporting statements

A good supporting statement can help with job application success. These group sessions offer expert guidance on how to write a concise and relevant statement, use of the person specification and job description to meet the criteria, as well as written examples of successful supporting statements.

Each session will be for around 20 delegates and there are five slots available.

  • 10.50am – 11.20am

  • 11.35am – 12.05pm

  • 12.20pm – 12.50pm

  • 13.05pm – 13.35pm
