Tootie Bueser is the director for nursing & midwifery at the NHS South East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance and chief nurse at the North Thames Genomic Medicine Service. She completed her PhD at King’s College London as an NIHR/HEE clinical doctoral fellow, and her research and clinical interests are in inherited cardiac conditions. She is a member of the chief nursing officer for England’s Shared Professional Decision-Making Council for research and an alumnus of the NIHR 70@70 Nurse Research Leadership Programme. She is on the editorial board of the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing and is a trustee at Cardiomyopathy UK. Ms Bueser is the nurse representative on the Association for Inherited Cardiac Conditions council and a past president of the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care. She was also the inaugural chair of the research forum. She is a founding member of the Filipino Senior Nurses Alliance UK.
