Manny Gnanaraj
Chief nursing and AHP officer, North London NHS Foundation Trust
Manny is the Chief Nursing and AHP Officer for North London NHS Foundation Trust. Born and trained as a Nurse in India, he specialised and practiced in mental health for over two decades in the United Kingdom. He has worked in clinical, operational, corporate and strategic roles within NHS. Manny received the Executive Healthcare Leadership Award from NHS Leadership Academy in 2022. The previous Trust he worked for was awarded the NHS Pastoral Care Quality Award for the International Nurses Recruitment Programme that he led.
Passionate in supporting the disadvantaged, Manny has a special interest in Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. He has supported and contributed to the Chief Nursing Officer’s BME Strategic Advisory Group as a Fellow. He has led International Nurses Recruitment for multiple organisations and has been part of the NHS Stay & Thrive Programme to support the internationally recruited nurse’s career progression. Manny is also an active member of BINA and Jabali Network whose goal is to support nurses from ethnic minority background in growing into senior leadership roles within the NHS.
