Juliette Palmer
Diabetes specialist nurse, Primary Care Brownlow Health Liverpool
Healthcare Professional Committee Member, Diabetes UK
My career as a diabetes specialist nurse (DSN) began over 11 years ago and has included helping develop a newly commissioned community diabetes team.
I currently work in a large inner city GP practice as a primary care DSN and have been privileged to be able to develop this role alongside the GPs and practice nurses, providing education and support while working closely with the community and secondary care diabetes teams.
I have a special interest in working with the homeless population in Liverpool and always strive to deliver the best care to people living with diabetes in all settings.
