Julie Roye, Queen’s Nurse, has more than two decades of dedicated nursing experience, having initially honed her skills as an adult nurse and midwife before transitioning into primary care nursing. Ms Roye, a qualified advanced clinical practitioner, is head of nursing for primary care at East London NHS Foundation Trust. In 2023, she won the leadership category in the RCN Nursing Awards and was named overall Nurse of the Year.
Julie's commitment to advancing healthcare knowledge and practice extends beyond her clinical roles. She is an editor for the Independent Nurse Practitioner journal, and is an editorial board member for RCNi’s Nursing Management journal.
