Joanna Vintis is the lead nurse and head of workforce transformation at Newcastle GP Services. She began her career as a practice nurse, focusing on the management of long-term conditions. In 2019, she introduced nursing students to her practice and found a passion for teaching and promoting practice nursing careers. She now works across all 28 GP practices in Newcastle to support the nursing workforce and expand nursing students’ experience of general practice.
