Helen Rees is a registered mental health nurse, and senior lecturer and field lead for mental health nursing at Nottingham Trent University. Ms Rees has a specialist interest in reducing suicide among healthcare staff and is a member of the steering committee for the RCN mental health nursing forum. She holds several leadership and consultancy roles, including patient involvement lead, specialist tribunal member and accreditation reviewer.
