Dr Claire Taylor is the Chief Nursing Officer of Macmillan Cancer Support, where she is responsible for the joint leadership of the Centre of Clinical Expertise (CoCE), providing insight from national stakeholders and networks; strategic clinical guidance to internal and external stakeholders; and building credibility with clinical audiences

In her clinical practice, Claire works as a Senior Oncology Nurse at London Northwest University Healthcare NHS Trust, and previously as a Macmillan Nurse Consultant supporting patients having complex pelvic cancer surgery and leading on the delivery of personalised cancer across the Trust.

Claire has been a cancer nurse for over 25 years. She was awarded an MBE in February 2020 for services to colorectal cancer nursing.
