Ms Sutton is a registered nurse who has worked across a number of settings including registered nursing homes and private hospitals. She has also worked for a software supplier as a clinical adviser on the clinical safety team ensuring that software used in a variety of settings was safe, useable and compliant with NHS Digital requirements. Ms Sutton has been a digital transformation lead for the National Care Forum – the membership body for not-for-profit care. She is now the transformational lead for the independent health and social care sector at the Royal College of Nursing, a non-executive director at the Professional Record Standards Body, and a co-opted council member at the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.
